This is a brief list of forthcoming tides and sessions at the Adur Canoe Club with some guidance for new paddlers wishing to come and joins us on a Sunday morning.
The times are to guide visitors to the Club only and should on no account be used as a "proper" tide table or instead of proper knowledge of tides to plan or commence any other activity. The table also lists the Club's Duty Instructor for the day.
From mid-December to end-April, the weather can be unsuitable, so call for advice!
The table below is subject to change so please check regularly. Although session closures are rare they do happen. The Adur Canoe Club committee tries its best to ensure that at least 2 weeks notice will be given in the event of a session closure. When a closure does happen notification will be through this website and through the Adur Canoe Club's email subscription server.
Coaches: If you can't make a date, please try yourself to find a substitute. If no
substitute is available, let Clare know so the session
can be cancelled.

The Adur Canoe Club tries its best to ensure that there is adequate instructor cover during our sessions. Therefore in the interest of safety, the duty instructor of the day may need to limit the number of visitors, particularly in difficult paddling conditions (weather or tidal nature). In such circumstances priority will be given to club members.
To work out the tide times on the following Tuesday evening, add approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
